Artist's Comments

My online friend Bo Zolland from visualtech (viztech.se) had designed and modeled this modern 32 Ford rod body and suspension system and has been kind enough to let me play with it some.

I added custom wheels and brakes, a new interior and a potent twin-cam V-8 engine. New paints and finishes were created to complete this high-tech-hod-rod.

3D Studio Max - Vray - Photoshop.

Thought of it since you posted the Volvo...

It's pretty cool. I don't feel the body has near the style of the '32 Ford though. The VolvoRod seems too simple and slick. Like you might carve a simple pinewood derby car and have it come out that way.

Great work, both from your pal than from yourself (as usual I may say) !

The only thing is the rear side pipe looks a bit tiny looking ar the V8 engine... :twocents:

I remember hearing the name Bo Zolland in Hot Rod Magazine a few years ago. He created a mean looking red-orange Ford pickup.
Nice job all together. Those wheels go nicely with that '32.
