Another "vexel" (vector - pixel hybrid) creation. This time a Toyota MR2 (MR-S in other locales). I seem to be somewhat obsessed with this car, it's my third deviation based on this particular body style. Either that, or I'm in a rut.
Some interesting details about this one - The interior and wheels were done in 3D and composited with a line-art render, for a detailed, yet still tooned look that merges well with the pure illustrative elements. Matching the camera angle to the illustration was somewhat of a challenge and ultimately required some careful manipulation in Photoshop to make it all work together. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
