Just finished this (and another varient) up today. Fianlly got a render I was happy with. Here's a NEW Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX (9) done up in the style of RB Motorsports' landmark Evo8. Baddass, balls to the wall, time-trial stylee. 3D Studio MAX with textures and post-render tweaks in Photoshop.

Gold wheels make me thing Impreza... Whats the thing on the front of the intercooler? o_o I am unfamilliar with this part... mainly beacuse I only tinker with cars older than I am x_x

i think i prefer this to the other. both look absolutely amazing...i really don't understand how you turn these out at such a rapid pace and with such unmatchable skill.

It's essentially a mister. It's tied into the nitrous system and sprays the FMIC to super cool it and increase it's efficiency under full throttle application. Pretty esoteric stuff.

Thanks Dan. I also think this one looks better (more real). I think it's the silver paint, it has more depth to it and shows off the car's curves better.
