Now that the game is out I can share this This job sprang directly from deviantart.com exposure. The art director for this project was initially exposed to my work from my gallery here.
Back in March of 2006 The company that heads up the packaging and visual identity for a number of Microsoft XBOX titles contacted me about doing some artwork for Forza Motorsports 2. What started out as a few comp renders quickly grew to well over 20 different assignments for the box-art in various world markets, ads, in-store promos and more. Many initial concepts were created and ultimately discarded. Several different cars were created for various European, Asian and North American Markets.
There are still some ads that I created that have yet to hit the various game publications, so There are still some images that cannot be shown.

I'm currently working on similar projects for other upcoming titles of all sorts.
Cover design is done my MS, the visual identity group, various focus groups. It's pretty much done by "committee" which often results in a watered down version of what was initially a good concept.
:numberone: Congratulations! You are a true artist. I remember thinking, not only everytime I look at the cover of the box, but watching some of the intro animations, who did these and how'd they get involved? I thought hey must be game Devs and strictly make the modeling within, but to see this is truly inspiring! Did you do the modeling used for the explosion views of Nismo 350Z in the intro scenes, 'cuz they are absolutely amazing!? Do deserve being v e r y well paid.
Sorry, I see you just worked for TenGun after reading most everything you replied to... no in-game modeling? Had to ask cuz the 3d explosion intro. doesn't look anything like what they used in the game, much more detailed like your incredibly detailed rotor/caliper and motor and internals, either way, awesome work.
Great that you do this stuff!
