Photographed several sunlit flares on black cars, then I open that image set a black point using Levels adjustments in Photoshop and paint out anything but the highlight with Black. Then I can drag that to a new layer in my car painting and set the new layer to screen. I can scale or distort to suit and achieve a realistic sun flare.
Agree with ViniMan - logos cover all the bodywork. With your skills I think it would be amazing if you made very smooth, not really visually tuned cars, maybe a bit lowered and with nice rims, that's all - I'd love to see one like this
Or an old muscle car
I've watched your gallery for quite some time now, and thought now would be a good time to throw in a comment.
First off, I love what you've done with this! Not to OTT and not to plain. Sidepipes are done so incredibly well, they almost look like a photography. Stunning!
Weels and brakes are done to such a high standard and I can't even begin to explain the coolness of the swirlmarked reflection on the front.
Tow-eye and antenna seems rushed though, but other than those minor things it's spot on!
just sooo much detail in this peice and all your others! im a huge fan of urs, how long does it roughly take u to do these toons/vexels? maybe the tire could do with some texture, i know its slick but still maybe add a touch of noise to it? wheels are my fav part of this, the brake discs have so much detail !! lol
