One of the few requests I fulfill. This one's for fellow deviant cche2052 who supplied the unique high-res photo for reference. Wheels were modeled in 3D Studio MAX and rendered to suit the perspective and lighting. The remainder is all Photoshop work. It's a pretty simple car and the lack of decals and intricate bodywork, allowed this to be done in about a half-day, surprizing me how fast it came about.
You car drawings are really amazing man... Do you use a tablet to make these and how do you get the shading and gradients of colour? Love all your car drawings.

They are from scratch. The CS4 extended version of Photoshop has some 3D rendering tools built in. I haven't messed with it much, but I know it exists.
