I do have a question for you however: do you think 3DS max is the right tool for precise modeling like the furniture the scene is displaying ? do you measure precisely the different pieces or do you model them without paying attention to minute details ?
for IKEA stuff it's super easy - all the overall dimensions are posted on the website, - they use a standard thiskness for their panels, so it's very easy to do it to scale.
true, still i've read that since 3DS is only a single precision system, tools like AutoCad or Rhino are better designed for fine modeling as they are double precision. Would you agree ?
