Had a slow day today...
I wanted to pick a relatively complex subject then research, model, texture and render it in one day - as accurately as possible. This is probably not 100% accurate to any specific model of Rolleiflex camera as I just grabbed as many reference photos as I could, and incorporated the most interesting elements. Modeled in AutoCAD, and 3D Studio Max. Rendered with 3D Studio MAX using Vray. Textures and touchups accomplished in Photoshop. If there's enough response, I may upload this model as a 3D resource. You'd need MAX 2008 to use it though. |

I'm curious how you modeled the pebble-grain (at least that's what I call it) material on the front of the camera. Is that randomly generated, or from a pattern?
