OK - Finally done. Finished up by adding the decals and markings, fixing the lighting a bit in Photoshop, added some additional details and refining a few odd materials.
Interesting trivia about this car. This one set the highest racing speeds ever at Le Mans; 248 MPH on the Mulsanne straight. It was after setting this sort of speeds, chicanes were added the next year to limit top speeds on the 5km long straight. Rhino - 3D Studio MAX - Vray - Photoshop. Total effort: 64 hours working time.   |
