Suzuki GSXR-600 Racing by dangeruss Suzuki GSXR-600 Racing by dangeruss
Another variation (different details and paint) on the same model used to create my GSXR 750 image(s). This one's a replica of the Alstare Corona Works Supersport racing machine. 3D Studio MAX with textures created in Photoshop.

very impressive...
2 things i would like to comment:

1. you are able to bring out the feeling(in lighting)but there are something missing, maybe the shadow need to be improved, they just look flat.

2. try to bump more, look at the front brake part, and the bike holder, they look like plastic, with your photoshop skill i think you definitely can do a good job.

hope you understand my english^^

Hello dangeruss.

Your work is really fantastic. but you made a little mistake : the corona logo you used is the american version, the one used in the Alstare suzuki bikes is the European one. Alstare is an European - Belgian to be more exact - team. If you want, Ican send you the official European Corona Logo as... I am Alstare's webmaster and system administrator.

That's really a verry good work !

Really? I never discerned a difference in the reference images I obtained from Alstare's racing site. Sure, send me the logo - preferably in .AI or .EPS format. - russ@hoverdesk.net please. Thanks for your help and kind comments.

Yes, but only for reflections. I prefer to use other lighting solutions, other than image based for my work.

That's the cleanest garage I've ever seen! Except for the floor...its dirty and scuffed, but nothing else is. Its feasible that the bike be clean, but what about that wheel jack, or the gas cylinders? Your modelling is very nice; I just think the texturing could use some more attention. Little details... :)

The real frame is painted black and has a semi-gloss, pebbly texture as indicated.

the seat bothers me. maybe you could try doing a leather seat. for some reason i think thread and some texture would make it look more real. Rubber on the tires and seat just look TOO perfect to be real I guess.

These seats aren't leather and feature no stitching - my rendition is quite accurate.

i know. the rubber for some reason looks "too perfect" which makes it not look real. i can't explain it very well. your craftsmanship is awesome.

I'm not a bike person So I'm not really one to say, but the white plastic behind the seat seems to be a bit too reflective. Other than that I have the same comments as last time. Somthingabout this one looks a little more real though. Amazing work.
