Mike has become my favorite conceptual artist lately. His ideas and art are very inspiring. I wrote him with a request to recreate some of his stuff in 3D and received his blessing, so here's another collaborative work. Here's a neat urban tunnel maintenance vehicle that utilizes fairly conventional and contemporary technology in an unusual way. Modeled and rendered in 3D Studio MAX over a 3-day period. Textures were created in Photoshop and procedurally. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
