What I think is that a wide range of strength and success of DeviantART, is that they become accessible to the world, in many different works of art, to the general public, independently of whether they are specialists, curious, hobbyists, and public anonymous.
It is indeed the most important point that the DeviantART provides an invaluable service and homage to ART, is the awakening of motivation and interest, in layers of public disinterested, and people so faraway of the "World of Art" until then.
